Dave Holland Prize winner and Victor Ludorum John Randall showcases his quartet at Cheltenham Jazz festival at noon on Monday in the Town Hall pillar room. John's band were chosen by the legendary Bassist himself and look forward to a similar date at Birmingham's New Generation Arts Festival in June this year.

The success of Criss-Cross night in Moseley continues with Mike Fletcher's Sextet - the More or Less Ensemble. There is an extended license at the bar, so bring you tools for a jam session after the main performance.

Bassist Jasper Hoiby brings his Loop Collective group Phronesis to the Yardbird continuing the relationship between our two organizations, with Nicky Jaques bring the music of Antonio Carlos Jobim to the busy bar.
27/04/08 Congratulations go to John Randall's Quartet, winners of the first Birmingham Conservatoire Dave Holland Ensemble Prize. The band will be performing at Cheltenham Jazz Festival on Monday the 5th of May.
