The Adrian Boult Hall is the largest venue in Birmingham Conservatoire seating 520 people and housing large concerts. High profile acts on the Birmingham Jazz programme are placed here such as the Dave Holland Quintet, Kenny Wheeler’s 70th Birthday Big Band and Joshua Redman trio .

Major refurbishment took place in August 2006 including new furnishings; stage lighting and acoustic treatment of the venue, as well as improving disabled access with the installation of a wheelchair lift and designated wheelchair spaces.

The hall is used regularly by the college for orchestral rehearsals and concerts as well as competitions and lectures. In house recording equipment provides high quality recording of college events and some external concerts, a large catalogue of which can be found in the college library.
