Bearwood's Cork Club holds its jazz night every Thursday evening from 8pm, hosted by the city's veteran sax player Andy Hamilton. This long-running venue highlights musicians firmly established and widely known on the Birmingham scene such as Ray Butcher and Edgar Marcias along with international exports such as Omar Puente and elder statesmen of the national scene, Bobby Wellins and Pete King amongst them.

The evening draws together not only a wide community of musicians, appearing on stage and at their monthly jam session, but also painters and photographers such as Garry Corbett, who has captured many images of Corks performances.
