Frank is familiar to both jazz and world-music situations, combining both in his Desert Grooves band. North African rhythms and harmonic flavours inspired the composition and improvisation alongside Frank's dexterous Oud-work.

He also plays Bass and writes for the outrageous 15 piece balkan-gypsy band The Destroyers and plays guitar with Simon Harris' Bright Size Gypsies and perfumes often in solo and duo situations.

As well as being a virtuoso fret player, Frank graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire's composition programme.
