The Birmingham Conservatoire Jazz Orchestra brings together the institution's finest players for frequent performances in Birmingham and beyond.

As well as recently completing a mini-tour with legendary composer Mike Gibbs, the orchestra have also performed with trumpeter Gerrard Presencer, played the big band music of Dave Holland and John Warren and have undertaken a concert of John Hollenbeck's compositions featuring the drummer himself.

The orchestra regularly perform the music of its composer/pianist leader Hans Koller and used as a platform for many student compositions. The ensemble played two gigs of original compositions at the Bash Bar Jam Night.
