Studying on the 4th year of Birmingham Conservatoire's jazz course, Rob is in demand as both a Trombonist and Bassist. His own quartet combines his melodic trombone playing with Mike Fletcher's Flute in a subtle and unusal instrumentation of Kenny Wheeler inspired originals and standards.

Rob's bone is also present in Sid Peacock's Surge, Aaron Diaz's Zappajazz, Backbeat and Simon King's Shrewsbury Jazz Orchestra. His bass credits are numerous, appearing in the bands of Ben Bryden, John Randal and Adam Jackson to name but a few.
