The Patrick Kavanagh pub is home to TL's Jazz Club, a bi-monthly gig running on alternate Monday evenings. Hosted by Birmingham's own jazz legend Tony Levin, the evening showcases great names from across the country, including the likes of Jean Toussaint, Mike Williams, Julian Seigel, Phil Robson, Percy Pursglove, Paul Dunmall, Jim Mullen and Miles Levin.

The night takes place in the pubs long upstairs room, which holds around 100 people with lots of seating and room for standing. The venue is also wideley know for open folk sessions that occur every Wedneday evenings. The Pat Kav's was awarded a 6.8 rating from the prestigous beerintheevening.com!
