After finishing a post-graduate course at the Guildhall School of Music and turning professional, Trevor continued his musical relationships with fellow-students such as Liam Noble, Dave Blackmore and Martin Hathaway, who feature on his first quartet recording The Cats Hide Under The Bed When I Play My Gary Windo Records. The record is a strong mix of original compositions and re-workings of traditional British folk music.

Trevor performs in trio with Liam Noble and Mark Sanders, organ trio The Las Vegas Power Cut and duo with trumpeter Sal Erskine, and has played at Cobweb’s own series of nights at the city’s Coffee Lounge. Also an active contributor to the free scene in the city, Trevor plays monthly alongside Bruce Coates, Paul Dunmall at the Fr-Imp Sessions and is bassist in the Birmingham Improvisers Orchestra.

Trevor has also been involved in playing traditional folk music and other ‘worldly’ projects, working with singers and developing original material and arrangements. Check out string trio The Other Foot, Indian-classical group The Sabri Ensemble, and Trevor’s forthcoming folk album which feature guests Joe Broughton of Violin, Paul Dunmall on Reeds and Tom Chapman on Cajon.
